Tasman - 36.6 Dual Layer

This is my second Tasman - 36.6 Dual Layer MKM jumper. Like my first one, it is warm and cosy and looks good. I am not surprised that people who buy it say good things about it soon after they buy it (lots of 5 star reviews). But I sincerely hope this one lasts longer than my first one did. The outer layer of my first one started to disintegrate after just a few months of light wear, mostly around the house and shopping. As the inner layer was a different colour to the outer layer this really showed. It got too scruffy to wear. I even felt bad wearing it on the tractor. I complained to Farmlands, where I bought it, but they said that as I had worn it quite a lot, I had no cause for complaint and did nothing. Even though I am a shareholder, I won't be buying clothes from Farmlands again. Eventually I asked MKM to do something. They said that as I bought it from Farmlands, they wouldn't exchange it (disappointing, considering), but they did give me a good discount on my next MKM purchase and were confident that the current Tasman - 36.6 Dual Layer is as hard wearing as they say it is in their advertising. I am an enthusiast for wool, and for NZ-made, so I thought I should give them another chance; hence my second Tasman - 36.6 Dual Layer. This time I bought one where the inner layer is the same colour as the outer layer, just in case. But I really do hope that the outer layer is nowadays made from stronger wool than the first one was.
