MKM Originals specialise in natural fibres which are 100% biodegradable and renewable. Further to this, we address issues around sustainability in the fashion and textile industry by using our unique recycled yarn called ECO BLEND.

ECO BLEND is an MKM Originals first, that builds on the environmentally-friendly and sustainable properties of our woollen garments. Yarn manufacture produces fibre fluff ordinarily discarded. In our Eco Blend, we’ve collected and re-spun the fibres to create an entirely new yarn with exceptional properties. It’s an innovation that has turned production waste into a premium yarn combining the best characteristics of its component fibres.

All of our products are 100% New Zealand made in our factory in Palmerston North. Our Pure Wool is sourced from New Zealand farms, and spun into a premium yarn right here in New Zealand.
